SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY

I've just returned from a wonderful meeting - the Carolinas Regional Symposium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Following a lovely reception on Friday evening with a magician doing card tricks at each table [amazing] the Saturday all-day session contained some of the best speakers I've heard in a long time. From PET scanning to plastic surgery to an infectious disease update including H1N1 flu, RAC audits, and the evolving profession of medical transcription by our own Brenda Hurley.

The Southern hospitality was in abundance everywhere your turned from some of the most dedicated medical documentation professionals anywhere. I would highly recommend attendance at this meeting next year if at all possible. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

I wanted to send a big THANK YOU to all who contributed to the symposium in Charlotte yesterday (November 7). As a new MT student, this was my first time at such an event, and I found it to be enjoyable, informative, and very worthwhile. I came home even *more* fired up about my future as an MT. I am so glad that I attended, and I plan to continue going to as many of these events as I can. Thank you for a wonderful time!   Teresa

I met you at the symposium in Charlotte yesterday.  I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it and hope to be able to attend it next year.  You all put on fabulous presentations, good food and the company was wonderful.  I enjoyed meeting other transcriptionists from all over the south and found it very enlightening.  Thank you for all of the hard work you put into it and the wonderful welcome we received.

I am filling out the form for continuing education for my employer but do not know how many credit hours to put down.  Would you please e-mail that to me so I can get my form turned in as soon as possible.

Thank you again for such a great symposium and hope to see you again next year.
